This morning Piano Manny's feeling a little down.  Its not like I really have much to be down about:  I'm a few months behind on the rent, but I'm very gainfully employed.  I get unsettled, though, when finances don't go according to plan and this may be the source of my discontent.

I find solace in my music.  Composition and playing some of my old favorites is a great way to soothe the mood and stabilize my energy.  If you haven't guessed by my name, I play keys.  I guess if it were just me, I'd be less worried - but at the end of the day I have my dog Happy Gilmore (Gilly for short) and my cat Happy to fend for in case of sudden relocation.

I'm off work today because its President's Day, but heading in anyway because nothing beats the productivity the nice quiet solace of an empty office provides.

I'm a huge fan of AC Ford's blog and Primegirl's blog which is part of the reason I've started to write a bit here on the orange B.  I don't know if I'll ever be super popular on here, but well....here goes.

Goals for the day
(1) work
(2) settle up that bank thing
(3) do something fun

This is probably the most boring blog I've ever read.  I'll do better later.  Stay tuned.
