Hard day.

This was a really trying day today. My wife and I found out that our daughter has committed fraud against our bank accounts and that there will be punitive repercussions against all of us. We all went up to the bank today to speak with the manager to try and come to some resolution, and they were as helpful as they could possibly be but the chips in the end will fall where they may. I won't get into specifics, but I began to pray the blood of Jesus over our family. In the meantime, i was so blessed by this video that I wanted to share it with you guys. Happy Sweetest Day

Little Ghetto Boy

I LOVE Lalah Hathaway. I began this morning with her on the brain and decided to make her my WCW (woman crush Wednesday).  As I was listening to her Ghetto Boy, which is a remake of Donny Hathaway's original, I was reminded that Snoop, Dre, and Nate Dogg did a version too. When I think about how turbulent times persist in America so long after the original now 44 years ago I wanted to express my compassion for the young black man - because lets face it: that's what they mean by 'Ghetto Boy'.  Code for economically disenfranchised men that look like me.

In homage, and somewhat a revolutionary cry of exasperation, I just wanted to take a moment to share with you the matriculation of the Little Ghetto Boy.
